Organization Profile:
Paradise Too offers unique vacation rental properties for the discerning traveler. Our properties offer those extras that help to make your vacation experience special.
Project Overview:
Create a customized user interface to allow users to book Paradise Too properties. The system should be set to allow for multiple property capabilities to allow for simple future expansion. Additionally, all reservations must have a sliding deposit scale and tax rates based on property base don loaction.
Project Details:
The overall goal of this project is to create a custom built dynamic property listing program that would keep seasonal rates, calendars, property details and much more while offering the user the easiest user experience possible. The site was to be extremely functional but very easy for everyone to use - front end users as well as site adminsitrators. In order to accomplish this, we need a clean and clear user interface with clear navigation while building the functionality to handle most of the work.
Technologies Used:
- Microsoft's ASP
- Microsoft Access DB
- Customized Pilot Cart
Project Features:
- Designed Look and Feel
- ASP/Access based CMS
- Dynamic news system
- Customized search options
- Invoicing and credit card payments with backend capabilities
- Dynamic property booking system
- Real-time calendar for all properties
- Newsletter system
- Membership management system
- All site updates/content changes are made via our own secure administration panel
Project Solution:
The core of the site was built on our content management system (CMS). Once we had the core up and running, PharSide began customizing the specific required modules to allow the dynamic display of properties and realtime booking of those properties. The system was built to receive a deposit and other standard charges to reserve the property followed by a system generated e-mail notifying the rentee that the remaining balance payment is due.
