Project Overview:
Develop an interactive CD-ROM based product manual with accompanying support material.

Project Details:
GNLD has, in the past, incurred heavy costs in producing a printed, 300+ page, heavy-duty binder enclosed manual. The expense of such an undertaking led to a careful evaluation of the distribution practices of said manual. The request of GNLD was to produce an electronic, CD-ROM based with cross platform compatibility, manual that would be low-cost to produce and could be mass distributed to all necessary parties.

Project Solution:
Upon undertaking this project, PharSide examined the existing manual, its format, layout, and developed a technical design that would be most feasible and effective in order to fulfill the client’s project and budget requirements. Development of the project entailed production of a user-friendly interactive interface that maximized the accessibility and value of the information held on the CD-ROM. Completion of this production process allowed for cross-platform testing and compatibility assurance on the completed prototype which ensured the usability of the CD-ROM in all necessary environments. With approval of the final candidate, the mass production and distribution of the manual CD-ROM went into effect. This will ultimately expand GNLD's communication with all necessary parties while saving the company thousands of dollars per year.
